Full of Promise

Resin and ink with metallic gold
The board was prepared with gold leaf all over first. Then layered with varying shades of caramel and dark toffee. Finished with liquid gold poured over the  top.
Whenever I put leaf under resin I makes the painting come alive. It looks as though there is a light coming from underneath. It will atract every little bit of light and a night will still glow, almost saying "look at me".
