Kakariki

Original artwork by djrusden.
Texture applied to canvas first. Then layers and layers of paint mixed with varnish. Applied then some areas scaped off. I wanted to give dimensiona and depth. Like layers of celophane where you can something behind.
Imagine looking throught the foliage of trees just as autumn is starting to paint the leaves.
